Following the completion of the damaged Trans-Forcardos Pipeline, the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd (SPDC) has lifted the force majeure on crude oil exports from Forcados Terminal earlier this week. Hence, Forcados has recommenced its crude exports. It is envisaged that the recommencement of exports of this crude will bring Nigeria to the 1.8million bpd level the Federal Government has been pursuing before its joints the OPEC output pact.
