The Minister of Mines and Steel Development has admonished the Solid Mineral Development Fund (SMDF) to fast-track the approval of US$600mn dollar loan from the Sovereign Wealth Trust. To that effect, the Ministry of mines and development has commenced negotiation with the Sovereign Wealth Trust to access the fund and inject it into the sector.
