The Federal Government (FG) recently declared and confirmed that not only has Nigeria attained self-sufficiency in cement production, Nigeria can also now confidently boast of being an exporter of cement to other countries. The FG recognized and credited Dangote Cement Plc (Dangote) for making the foregoing milestone achievement a reality as Dangote singlehandedly spear-headed and executed the backward integration policy introduced by the FG.
