As part of the Federal Governments (FG) efforts towards diversifying the economy away from oil as well as promoting the exportation of made-in-Nigeria products, the FG recently revealed its support for the establishment of a 327,000-tonne iron and steel plant being constructed by Standard Metallurgical Company Limited in Ogun State.
