DPR reports increase in the level of compliance oil producing firms compliance with Domestic Gas Supply Obligation

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR)has reported that the gas sector has so far witnessed a 40% increase in respect of Domestic Gas Supply Obligation (DSO) complianceby oil producing firms. The DSO is assigned annually to all gas producers pursuant to the National Domestic Gas Supply Obligation & Pricing Regulations 2008 to determine the gas demand or the national gas requirement annually and evaluate utilisation along the gas value chain, among other functions.
