Advocaat Law Practice held it’s discourse series on Thursday, the 25th of October 2018, at Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos themed “TECHNOLOGY DISRUPTION IN THE POWER SECTOR” moderated by Mr. Rumundaka Wonodi, the Founder & CEO, ZKJ Energy Partners Ltd.
The event witnessed an array of key stakeholders in the power sector with the keynote address from Prof. James Momoh, Chairman, NERC on “Transformation of Nigerian Electricity market with Technology – The Regulatory Perspective. Mr. Alexandros Aris Papachristou the MD, Soventix Nigeria also talked about “Solar and Solar Hybrids as part of smart grid solutions for an efficient electricity market in Nigeria” and shared his view on diversing the electricity generation method.
The second session featured presentations from the MD/CEO Mojec International Limited Miss. Chantelle Abdul who was represented by Ms. Vivian Omelime and Mr. Okpalaobieri Chukwudozie, Energy Specialist Expert, AFDB and their presentations covered discussion on “Metering as a Technology Disruptor in the Energy Sector” and “Financing Renewable Projects, Smart grids and metering” respectively.
