ALP recently advised the client, an indigenous Independent Power Producer (IPP) on its acquisition of majority shareholding in another licensed indigenous IPP in Nigeria. Our scope of services included conducting comprehensive due diligence on the target company, providing a legal opinion on the target companys existing contracts, assets, liabilities and obligations as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating the share sale and purchase agreement for the transaction.
