The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Adeolu Akande as the Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission. Prof. Adeolu Akande is a Professor of Political Science, former Chief Press Secretary to Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Chief of Staff to Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the erstwhile Governor of Oyo State.
