Eni has reached an agreement with the Federal Government of Nigeria for the construction of an oil refinery facility in Port Harcourt. The Minister of Petroleum revealed that Eni has executed a Memorandum of Understanding in respect of the said construction. Consequently, oil companies operating in Nigeria can now begin to migrate from solely exporting crude to also exploring the option of crude with a view to meeting both the countrys local international demand.
