Following the court appointment of provisional liquidator for Sea Trucks Group (STG), the management of West African Ventures (WAV) has released an official statement stating that although STG and WAV share common beneficial ownership, both companies are entirely separate and distinct. WAV further clarified that whilst WAV is a 100% Nigerian company incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, STG is a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and does not own any shares in WAV and neither is WAV a subsidiary of STG.
