The Bureau of Public Enterprise has said that Taleveras Group (Taleveras) has won a bid for Afam Generation (Afam) with an offer price of $260m.
TES Power occupied second place as the reserved bidder with an offer price of $222.9m, reported ngrguardiannews.com.
Northwest Power emerged as the preferred bidder for Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (Kaduna Disco) with an aggregate technical, commercial and collection loss reduction (ATC&C) proposal of 29.26%.
LEDA Consortium offered an ATC&C of 26.71% to occupy second place as the reserved bidder.
The other rival bidders for Kaduna Disco include NAHCO Consortium, Incar Consortium, Copper belt Consortium, and Axis Power Distribution.
National Council on Privatisation (NCP) technical committee chairman Atedo Peterside said the bidding results are subject to NCP’s final consent.
“For Kaduna Disco, we are seeking to establish which bidder is offering the highest aggregate technical commercial and collection loss reduction figure (ATC &C).” Peterside added.
