The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has reported that 20 Generation companies do not have active Power Purchase Agreements and 18 Generation companies do not have Gas Supplier Agreements with Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc (NBET) because they do not have payment guarantees from the Federal Government of Nigeria through the NBET.
